Wellbeing

At Gosforth Park First School the wellbeing, safety and mental health of our pupils is our top priority. The most important things that you can give to your children during this time of uncertainty are stability, reassurance and love.

We know that during this difficult time many of you are working from home whilst also looking after your children and trying to home-school, something which can be very challenging. Therefore, we do not want anyone to put additional pressure on themselves.

Teachers have been working hard to create a curriculum which is both engaging and accessible for home learning and they will continue to upload work by 8.45 every morning for the day ahead. However, we understand and appreciate that completing all of the work set may be a challenge when you are working from home so please just do what you can manage. When we return to school, our teachers will tailor the curriculum to meet the needs of your children, as we always do.

We are keen to support families in any way that we can and thank you for bearing with us as we adapt to this new way of working. Please let us know if there is anything you need. Stay safe and take care. We can’t wait to have our school family back together as soon as it is safe to do so.

Very best wishes,

The Gosforth Park Team
